Arenal Eco Tours is a family-run outfit born and raised in the shadow of the Arenal Volcano. Founded in 2009 by lifelong La Fortuna residents, the company grew from a single guide with a pickup truck into a tight team of certified local naturalists who still lead nearly every departure themselves. They know which trail the howler monkeys favor at dawn, where the volcano shows its best face at dusk, and how the seasons quietly reshape the rainforest from one month to the next.
